- Flour: 2 cup + extra for dusting
- Soya Chunks: 2 cups
- Garlic: 5-6 cloves (finely chopped)
- Ginger: 1 inch (finely chopped)
- Onion: 1 medium (finely chopped)
- Scallion(Green Onion): 1/2 cup
- Carrots: 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
- Green Beans: 1/2 cup (finely chopped)
- Vegetable Oil: 2 tbsp + extra for greasing the steamer pot
- Soya Sauce: 2 tsp
- Vinegar: 2 tsp
- Garam Masala: 1 tsp
- Ground Black Pepper: 1 tsp
- Salt (to taste)
- Garlic: 10-12 cloves tsp
- Dry Red Chilli: 4-5
- Tomato: 1 medium (fire-roasted)
- Salt (to taste)
- Vinegar: 1tsp

Step-1: To prepare the dumpling dough
Add flour in a bowl, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1 tbsp oil. Mix well and add little by little water to form a medium soft dough.
Cover well and let it rest for 30 mins.
Step-2: Add 4 water in a pan. Add soybean chunks,1 tsp of oil and 1/2 tsp salt, bring it to boil and turn off the flame and cover the pan with a lid and keep it aside. Rinse and then squeeze out all the water from soybean chunks.
Ground the soybean chunks in a grinder and keep it aside
Step–3: To prepare the stuffing
Add 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add finely chopped garlic and ginger and stir for a min. Add chopped onion and cook for 2-3 mins. After that add finely chopped carrots and green beans and cook for 2 mins. Add the ground soy chunks, salt to taste, ground black pepper, mix well, and cook for 3-4 mins. Turn off the heat and add black soy sauce, vinegar, and chopped scallion / green onion. Let the stuffing cool completely.
Step–4: Let’s make the dumplings
Cut the dough in equal parts and make around 20-24 balls. Take one ball and dust with dry flour. Roll the dough around 2-3 inches round. add 1-1/2 spoon stuffing in the middle of the rolled dough. Flip the rolled dough in half and close it like your desired dumpling shape.
Step–5: Steam the dumpling
Fill the water in a steamer pot as directed. Grease the steamer basket with oil and arrange the dumplings. Let the water boil and place basket in the pot. Let is steam for 10 mins. Remove from the heat.
Fire-roast the tomato and let it cool down. Add oil to a small pan, add garlic and red chilli and roast it for 4-5 mins on low heat. Add tomato, garlic and chilli in a grinder and make a smooth paste. Add salt and vinegar.
Server the dumplings with red sauce.
