General Ingredients
- Cabbage: 4 cups (finely chopped
- Potato: 1 cup (cut into cubes)
- Green Peas: 1 cup
- Tomato Puree: 1/2 cup
- Cilantro: 1 handful (finely chopped)
- Oil: 1 tbsp
Cooking Steps

Steps: Add oil in a pan, once heated add Fenugreek Seeds [wiki] & Asafoetida [wiki]. After a few seconds, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and coriander powder. Roast it for a minute and add the green peas and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add tomato purée and cook for a min. Add finely chopped cabbage and cubed potato and salt to taste. Mix well and cover the pan and let it cook for 5-6 mins.
Open the lid and mix occasionally. Cook with lid on for 6-8 minutes. Garnish with finely chopped cilantro. It can be complemented with rice/chapati/poori etc.
